Bev Rasmussen : About

Bev Rasmussen - Bev is a local Queensland artist living in the Scenic Rim who enjoys challenging her artistic expression with vibrant colours, especially when painting local landscapes.

“The beautiful mountains that surround me, inspire me. I love capturing their ever changing moods on canvas and simultaneously triggering an emotional response to share with the viewer”.

Bev is a member of the Royal Queensland Art Society and has been represented in galleries throughout Australia and won awards throughout Queensland for her artwork.

Galleries represented in have been: Lilydale - Dandenong’s and Melbourne, Whitsunday, Mackay, Central Highlands-     Emerald and local Scenic Rim Galleries. 

Bev has also completed several art works for scenes in the film “Crooked Business” (2011)
